Cookies and browser storage on Poki
This page explains what Poki stores in your browser, what the games we embed can store, and how to clear it. It is short because the site itself keeps things simple.
What our own pages store
Poki does not use tracking cookies. We do not follow you around the web or build a profile of you. The only thing our pages keep is the browser storage a game needs to remember where you are, like a level, a score or a setting. That storage lives on your device and stays there until you clear it.
Embedded games and their ad partner
Many games on Poki run inside a frame loaded from the game's own provider. Those games, and the ad partner that serves ads inside them, may set cookies or similar storage inside that frame. We do not control those cookies. They can be used to show ads, to remember a game setting, or to measure how an ad performed. If you want to know exactly what a specific game sets, check the privacy notice shown inside that game.
How to block or delete cookies
- Open your browser settings and find the privacy or cookies section.
- Delete existing cookies and site data for this site.
- Block third-party cookies if you want to stop cookies set inside game frames.
- Use a private or incognito window if you just want a clean session.
Blocking cookies can break a game's save or stop ads from loading, so some games may not work the way they should.
Consent
By starting a game on Poki, you agree to the storage described here. If you do not agree, close the page and clear the site data in your browser.
