About the game
Backgammon pits you against one rival in a race to bear off every one of your pieces first. Each turn starts with a dice roll, and the numbers decide how far you can move. Luck sets the roll, but the choices you make with it carry the game.
How to play
- Roll the dice, then move your pieces by the numbers that come up.
- Take all your chips off the board before your opponent does to win.
- Don't lean on luck: over a long game, planning your moves matters more than the dice.
