Moon Chess

Moon Chess

About the game

You play against the Half Moon in a board game with a space theme. The job is to link the phases of the lunar cycle, starting at Crescent and finishing at Full Moon, and collect points while you do it.

The board plays with light and shadow, and the game takes its ideas from real astronomy. It sits somewhere between a puzzle and a strategy game, so it rewards thinking before you act.

How to play

  • Face the Half Moon in a one-player match.
  • Connect the lunar phases in order, from Crescent up to Full Moon.
  • Every connection earns points, so aim for the longer chains.
  • Watch how light and shadow shift, and try to stay ahead of the moon's rhythm.
