About the game
Sudoku Online is a number puzzle on a 9x9 grid. You fill every row, column and 3x3 box with the digits 1 to 9, and no digit may repeat inside any of them. A few cells come filled in, and those clues are where you start.
Classic mode has Easy, Medium, Hard and Expert. Four extra modes change the rules: X-Sudoku, Windoku, Killer Sudoku and Kropki. Each puzzle has one solution, and you never need to guess. A rank list, a profile with stats and a chat are there too.
How to play
- Fill the grid so each row, column and 3x3 box holds the digits 1 to 9 exactly once.
- Start with cells that already have many filled neighbors, since they leave the fewest options.
- Use notes mode to jot down several candidates in one cell and cross them out as the grid fills.
- In the extra modes, follow the added rules: diagonals in X-Sudoku, highlighted regions in Windoku, target sums in Killer, and dot markers in Kropki.
